A Little Chalkboard Dust!

If you've been looking at blogs recently you will know that Chalkboard Designs are very, very hot right now!
I love them.... and decided to create my first one (with many more to come!) today. I kept it simple and was inspired by one of Becky Roberts marvelous posts.  Cute, cute!

I'll fuss the next one up a bit but I really do like simple.... as I'm sure you have been able to tell!

The banner is stamped onto Basic Black card stock with only the embellishments raised.

Chalking is fun and easy to do! Here are the steps:

  • Stamp all images in Versamark ink onto Basic Black card stock and heat emboss using White Embossing Powder.
  • Use a Stampin' Sponge and White Stazon Ink to create "chalkdust smudges" on your creation - you know those areas on the chalkboard where you can tell it's been erased.
  • Use a white colored pencil to create lines, swirls or doodles to add interest and personality to your card.
