I love this set from the Occasions Catalog and this time I used it in a funky card that has some fun shaped pieces and just depends on Whisper White and Tangerine Tango.

 

Two cards for your viewing pleasure today! This one starts with the same idea but has a few added pieces. Love the little camera!

 

Hint: When creating with pieces like this I start with a square and then just trim two adjacent sides. This will make sure you always have a right angle to fit the lower right hand side of the card front.

You Make Me Happy

 

Quite likely my favorite current stamp set! I love the watercolor stamp that just, I don't know, adds a really neat touch to lots of the cards I make.

 

Stamped three times in fun colors - Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe and then topped off with the outline of a flower and a row of rhinestones.

You make me happy (for reading my blog!) and so does this card.  Have a wonderfully awesome day!

Hello there and thank you...

 

A very huge thank you out to each of you for following my blog - getting close to 500,000 hits and that's even with my slacking a bit (okay, quite a bit!)

 

I just haven't quite figured out how to create a little niche in the day where I can close the door behind me in my Stampin'' Up! room and get creative. 

 

As my Mom's ALS continues to progress, new needs are arising and it's important to be there for each of them. Her hands no longer allow her to create the cards she loved making and so her days are filled with puzzles and Sudoku. The puzzles need to be less challenging than a few weeks ago and I'm so grateful that they make books full of simple Sudoku. Her sweet spirit remains and she is the easiest person in the world to care for, so I am very grateful for the opportunity to spend this special time with her.

 

 

Love her so much!

 

 

I love Coastal Cabana, Whisper White and Basic Black - what a great color combo. Scallops accented with a touch of Ruffled Trim add the perfect touch to these two great papers.
