A Tribute to My Sweet Mom

In all the world we shall not find
a heart so loving and so kind,
so soft a voice, so sweet a smile,
an inspiration so worthwhile,
a sympathy so sure, so deep,
a love so wonderful to keep.

It's been a while since I've posted here and, as most of you would be aware, I have spent the last eleven months with my Mom as she journeyed along with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) I can't say she battled it, because she so sweetly resigned herself to the diagnosis last October, but she did live each day to the fullest and we are so proud of her.

She peacefully passed away July 18th and she will be forever missed and in our hearts.

So, life has taken another turn and, as promised, I'm back to blogging!!

Thank you to each one of you for your understanding and patience.... it means the world to me.
I don't have a card made to show you yet, (what!!!) but wanted to let you know that it's right around the corner.

In the meantime.... here's an offer that's too good to pass up!
Purchase a Big Shot! and receive a bundle for free.
Get all the details here.

Place your order here ... please.

Penny,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom sounds like a wonderful woman. She will always be with you.
I also took care of my mother in her last years. She had Alzheimer's Disease. During that time I felt a bond closer than ever before. She too was a gentle woman and I was so lucky to have her.
Looking forward to your return to blogging.

Penny, you don't know me, as I just happened upon your blog tonight, but I just wanted to pray for God's love to hold you and heal you during this time of accepting the loss of your mother. I can tell by your tribute to her that she was a special blessing to you, and I know that it will be difficult to go about the day to day tasks without her. But I feel sure she would want you to continue crafting, doing what you love, and sharing your talents with others. God bless you and your family, and I will visit your blog often now that i have found you to see how you are doing.
