Hello Sweet Baby!

New babies, there's nothing so sweet!
And this morning we welcomed our ninth grandchild (seventh grandson) into the world.

Welcome, sweet baby Xandyr!
We're so glad you're here and that both you and your Mommy are doing great.

Here's a simple card that welcomes the new addition to your world. Itty Bitty Banners with a tad of Gorgeous Grunge simply stamped before embossing just waits for a tiny heart to be tied on to the front.

For this card I chose to use the underside (or negative side - but there really isn't anything negative about creating cards, right?) of the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. I also chose to emboss just a section of the card front - see the pic below on how to do that.

And because there are some new sweet little girls in our world also - here's one done in Strawberry Slush and Tangerine Tango.

To emboss only the center of the card front, first stamp your cardstock, then simply place your cardstock part way in the embossing folder as shown. (The picture doesn't show the stamping - it's on the underside) Run it through your Big Shot! just an inch or two until you have the amount of embossing that makes you happy! The lower and upper edges of the cardstock will be left blank.

Oh my - what a beautiful baby boy. Congratulations Penny. We are expecting our 2nd grandchild any day now. First was a boy, this time a girl. Oh how joyous they are, the most precious thing you can ever imagine and so very, very special. Enjoy every moment of those baby cuddles, I’m sure you will. Oh, sorry, wonderful cards too ;>)
