I love a good cup of coffee! And when Becky Roberts emailed me the cutest pictures of coffee cup cookies I knew I had to CASE them! So here are the cards..
along with the directions.
They're quick to make and just plain fun! They are standard card size so will fit nicely into your envelope for mailing. If you happen to have the S.W. A.K. stamp from last year ,stamp it at the top of the lid!
Supplies
Real Red card stock 4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2"
Basic Black card stock 1-1/4" x 3-1/2"
1/2" square
Whisper White card stock (2) 1-1/4" x 4-1/4"
(2) 3/4" x 4-1/4"
Glimmer Paper 1-1/4" square
Snowflake Soiree stamp set
Versamark Pad
Clear Embossing Powder
White Embossing Powder
3/16" Corner Punch
Heat Tool
Bone Folder
Sticky Strip
Snail Adhesive
Directions:
- Score Real Red card stock @ 5-1/2". Fold in half and crease with Bone Folder.
- Open card and angle cut both 5-1/2" sides of card as shown below. I lined the bottom edge up with the 1/2" mark.
Here's what it should look like now.
- Using Versamark ink and the Snowflake Soiree
stamp set, stamp snowflakes onto front of card. Sprinkle liberally with your choice of embossing powder and heat with Heat Tool.
To create lid: Using Snail Adhesive, adhere the Whisper
White, 3/4" x 4-1/4" along the lower edge of the 1-1/4" x
4-1/4" strip.
White, 3/4" x 4-1/4" along the lower edge of the 1-1/4" x
4-1/4" strip.
Using 3/16" Corner Punch round both bottom corners of
the Whisper White, 1-1/4" x 4-1/4" strip.
the Whisper White, 1-1/4" x 4-1/4" strip.
- Adhere "lid" to top of card with Snail or Sticky Strip. Repeat on back side of card to finish it off nicely.
Using Snail Adhesive, adhere the Basic Black 1-1/4" x 3-1/2" strip along center front of "coffee cup". You will need to angle cut both ends of the strip to match angle of cup.
- Adhere Glimmer Paper 1-1/4" square to center of "belt".
- Adhere Basic Black, 1/2" square, to center of "belt".

Thanks so much for your very clear directions. This looks very do-able and CUTE.
Love this extra special Christmas edition! I have made several of the regular cups to hold gift cards. My boss loved hers so much she took it to her coffee group to show it off! I then had to provide your blog site and Becky's for the others to make their own. I think I will keep this under wrap until Christmas just in case one of them makes it instead! Thanks for a great blog and lots of great inspiration.
