Holiday Frame

Isn't it pretty?
I just love it - for a variety of reasons!
I love the word "JOY" with a flower in place of the "O".
The embossed lettering, the embossed corners and I love the colors. They remind me of our living room a few years back.
I feel best surrounded in whites, creams and ecrus.

Shabby chic isn't quite as stylish as it was, but I loved being surrounded by it, back when it was our decor.

I've integrated some of that furniture into our daily living and the rest is relegated to an upstairs bonus room, where I sometimes go sit just to enjoy the feeling of it all. It's my private get-away.

I'm tempted to just pull it all back out and enjoy it again! Seriously, there is hardly anything more functional than a white slipcovered sofa that you can toss in the wash when you need to (the slipcover, not the sofa, that is!)

And it goes with any season - just change out a few throw cushions, warm it up, cool it down, brighten it up, soften it down. Want to help me move it all back downstairs?

The letters were die-cut using the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die and then embossed using the Holiday Frame Folder.
The flower - three layers of Very Vanilla card stock punched using the 1-1/4" Scallop Punch, scrunched up and a brad in the center. That sounded easy, didn't it?!

The corners were also embossed with the Holiday Frame Folder - here's a pic to convey the idea.

Note: When embossing, just run the Big Shot! just passed the area to be embossed and then back again, as the paper is obviously too wide to fit through the Big Shot! Repeat on all four corners.
